مالے میں مٹی سے بنی دنیا کی سب سے بڑی مسجد

 مالےکے شہر ٹمبکٹو میں دنیا کی سب سے بڑی مٹی اور گارے سے بنی مسجد ڈجنگریبر میں واقع ہے،1240ء کے فن تعمیر کی اس شاہکار مسجد کی دیواریں کچی اینٹوں کی ہیں جن پرگارے کا لیپ کیا گیا ہے،مسجد کی دیواروں پرجا بجا لکڑی کے بلاکس نصب ہیں مٹی سے بنے مینار اور محراب مسجد کی شان ہیں۔

Each year, the locals gather for Crépissage, a festival where the entire mosque is re-plastered to protect it from erosion. مسجد ڈجنگریبر کا ڈیزائن پرانی طرز کا ہے،مسجد کی تعمیر میں استعمال کی گئی کچی اینٹیں گرمی کی حدت کو روکتی اور ماحو ل کو ٹھنڈا رکھتی ہیں،ہرسال جب بارشیں ہوتی ہیں تو یہاں کے مکین مسجد کی دوبارہ لپائی کرتے ہیں جس میں بچے بڑے سب ہی بھرپور انداز میں حصہ لیتے ہیں،مٹی سے بنی دنیا کی اس نابغہ روزگار مسجد میں 2000 نمازیوں کی گنجائش ہے۔
